between the headlining and the outer cabriolet hood there is insulation material. If the the outer cap is replaced then you will see that this insulation material has to be replaced as well, if you still use the old insulation the outer hood will never fit neatly. All insulation packages are made according to the original dimensions and ar a perfect fit. These are complete for both the roof section and the sides of the hood including the straps.
