VW Convertible 1303

This convertible is offered on behalf of our customer.

No expense has been spared to fully restore this beautiful Beetle 1303 convertible. Almost everything that could be done has been done. So are you looking for a nice reliable beetle to enjoy beautiful rides in the sun? Cap open, sunglasses on, and drive.

The Beetle is painted in a beautiful gray color which gives it a beautiful classic look, but also a contemporary look. Subtly lowered overall by means of adjustable shock absorbers, which gives it a somewhat sportier look together with the Empi 8 spoke sports rims. Equipped with a 1600cc engine which has been fully checked and has not made many kilometers since its overhaul.

Did you know that the Beetle 1303 was equipped with a McPherson suspension, and it was also called Super Beetle because of this suspension. This chassis ensures that the beetle is much better on the road than its "standard" younger brother. A real driving pleasure to tour the landscape with this 1303.

What has been done and renewed:

Body

Full body-off restoration! All the metal that showed even a little rust has been replaced. From main sills (upper and lower) to complete side screens and the sheet metal of the nose, to underbody panels and much more. All this shown from the invoice's and the photos below are silent witnesses of this restoration.

Chassis
Been completely blank. Then sprayed in a protective industrial paint.

Spraying
Fully painted, both inside and outside have the same color. Painted in mouse grey. 

Convertible top
The top that is mounted is made of high quality fabric (Sonnenland). No expense has been spared here either. Both the inside and outside cover have been completely renewed. The frame has also been overhauled and provided with a new layer of paint.

Rubbers
All rubbers have been replaced and renewed. Window rubbers, hood rubbers, to the smallest lighting rubbers. And no cuts have been made on quality, where possible the choice has been made for top-quality rubbers.

Interior
The interior has been completely renewed. The classic-looking seat upholstery completes the beetle. Both the full upholstery and the foam rubber of the seats and backrest have been replaced. The frames have also been completely treated and provided with a new layer of paint. Door panels are in the same style as the upholstery, so that everything forms a beautiful whole.

Engine
The engine had already been overhauled for the restoration of the beetle. This has been fully checked and adjusted by us and will provide you with many safe kilometers.
